Beechwood Health Solutions’ CEO to Address The Transition Network in Chicago, Illinois

Beechwood Health Solutions’ CEO Judith Hicks will present the keynote at an upcoming Transition Network event focused on health and wellness.

The presentation, scheduled for Saturday, December 10, will present new research from Harvard and Johns Hopkins University that identified a correlation between type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. Ms. Hicks, who serves on the Leadership Council and Nutrition Round Table at the Harvard School of Public Health, will discuss the health implications of the findings, as well as the business implications to the health care system.

“The prevalence of type two diabetes in the United States doubled between 1990 and 2005, and the CDC is already calling it an ‘epidemic’,” explained Ms. Hicks. “This new research adds even greater urgency to what was already a national health crisis.”

The Transition Network is a leading, nationwide organization for women over 50 who are working to change the direction of their career or re-enter the workplace.
